[BRACKNELL JAZZ brings some the UK's foremost jazz musicians to perform with a resident rhythm section at South Hill Park Arts Centre, a fine 18th century mansion set in rolling parkland. The gigs take place in the beautiful Recital Room, which boasts a Steinway grand piano. Bracknell Jazz takes place one Friday evening each month. The main performance starts at 8:00 pm. There is usually a curtain raiser / warm-up band from 7:30 (often featuring younger performers - please check the website for details). Tickets are £8.50 (£5 for under 18s), and can be booked through the SHP Box Office. The Cafe Atrium (set on the terrace, with fine views of the grounds) serves bistro style meals.
